Curation Standards

How we choose what you see

Every product on Hano meets a clear standard before it reaches you. Curation is not convenience — it is a point of view.

01

Material honesty

No replicas. No disguised materials. No veneer pretending to be solid wood, no plastic pretending to be metal. If a piece is made of plywood, it owns that — and it's beautiful plywood. The same integrity applies whether a piece costs $150 or $5,000.

02

Craft and longevity

We select for pieces that are built to last — in construction, in material, and in design. Trends expire. Good proportions don't. Every product is evaluated on whether it will still look right in a room five years from now.

03

Compositional range

A great room isn't all statement pieces. It needs anchors, bridges, and accents at different investment levels. We curate across price points so that a room can come alive around a few genuinely considered pieces even when much of what surrounds them is more accessible.

Anchors. Bridges. Accents.

Every price point has a role

04

Coherence over volume

We carry fewer products than a marketplace. That's the point. Every piece exists because it plays a clear role in compositions — not because it fills a category.
